Ruth Williams has been a leader in social and economic development for Aboriginal peoples in British Columbia for over 30 years. She has been a member of dozens of organizations over the years, almost invariably assuming a leadership role.
Ruth currently sits on not less than five different boards, including the Vice Chairperson of the First Nations Market Housing Fund; President of Kamloops Native Housing Committee; Member of the First Nations Health Society; Vice Chairperson of the BC First Nations Private Equity Fund and a member of the BC First Nations Economic Development Working Group. Ruth has also been a founding member of many advisory groups and organizations in BC.
Presently, Ms. Williams is the CEO of All Nations Trust Company, an aboriginal financial institution providing commercial loans, mortgages, trust administration and other business development services throughout most of BC.
Ruth Williams is a Status Indian from the High Bar Indian Band.
