Applications are invited for a Business Families Professorship at the Sauder School of Business, the University of British Columbia. The applicant should have an interest in teaching and conducting research on business families, as well as having regular interaction with the Business Families Centre (www.sauder.ubc.ca/bfc). The Business Families Centre offers many research, outreach and teaching opportunities through its strong connections to business families and professional advisors.

Appointments will be made in one of the divisions at the Sauder School of Business, such as the Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Division. Applicants from strategy, entrepreneurship or any other areas are also welcome.

Other required qualifications include a strong commitment to teaching, a very strong research orientation and an ability to supervise doctoral candidates. The position is open in rank based upon qualifications and experience. As a minimum, applicants must be nearing completion of their PhD dissertation. Salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
