Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) Designation
The Business Families Centre is the education partner for the Institute of Family Enterprise Advisors (IFEA), which accredits qualified advisors with the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation.
The FEA designation is the hallmark for business families allowing them to immediately identify and trust professionals—including lawyers, accountants, wealth managers, family therapists and coaches—that understand their unique needs better than other professionals.
Requirements for the FEA designation include:
- Completion of the Family Enterprise Advisor Program (FEAP)
- Another professional designation or equivalent
- Pass the IFEA written and oral components of the designation exam
- Five plus years of full time experience (minimum 30% or equivalent working with families)
- Seven hours of annual Continuing Education credits
