Am I eligible for scholarships, awards and bursaries?
A wide range of scholarships, awards, prizes and bursaries are available to BCom students. You may be eligible based on your academic achievement and in many cases, a combination of financial need and/or achievement in other areas such as leadership and community service.

Am I eligible for loans and grants?
Student loans are government-funded, repayable financial assistance available to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. You may be eligible based on your income and assets, tuition, fees, books, and living expenses. Find out more and apply at Awards & Money Management on the UBC website.
Can I apply for a research stipend?
A research stipend of $5000.00 (CAD) is paid to students in the Commerce Scholars Program for research work typically completed by the student during the summer between Years 3 and 4 of the program.
