On April 14, we will be hosting two opportunities to volunteer in Vancouver as part of our first Sauder Gives Back campaign. Join us in volunteering with Covenant House Vancouver which supports youth aged 16 to 24 who have fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse; those who have been forced from their homes; and those who have aged out of foster care.

By offering community outreach, crisis support, and access the safe and affordable housing, Covenant House Vancouver has provided support to over 20,000 young people in their journey to get off the streets and transition to independence. Support their Gift-in-Kind program by volunteering to sort food, clothing and hygiene items. Access to these items are one of the many services Covenant House Vancouver provides clients in their Drop-In Centre.

Sauder Gives Back is a brand new opportunity for you to volunteer your time or expertise to a cause important to you. Help us make UBC Sauder history by volunteering alongside our goal of 100 alumni around the world.

Until April 30th, 2018, you’re encouraged to volunteer and share a photo or anecdote of your experience using #SauderGivesBack on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for the chance to win a $500 donation to an approved charity of your choice. We’ll be featuring select posts on our website and social media.
