Impact Week is a collaboration between nine UBC-based clubs and centres taking place from February 2-9. It explores the most pressing issues of today: climate, poverty, inequality, and health.
Today's news headlines are flooded with stories on displaced refugees, the still prevalent gender gap, and income inequality across the world. As part of Impact Week, on February 7, the Peter P. Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics and the7dayringproject will host a panel discussion on inequality. Come hear from the following academic, corporate, investment, and philanthropic leaders who are using business approaches to address issues related to inequality.
Jennifer Berdahl, Professor at UBC Sauder School of Business
Wendy Mitchell, Director of Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations at the Conference Board of Canada
Kate Lade, Director of Development at imagine1day
Responsible / Impact Investor (TBD)
