UBC Sauder students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in this interactive workshop on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Business, led by Kathleen Lane and hosted by the Dhillon Centre for Business Ethics at UBC Sauder.
Action on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals is expected to unlock trillions of dollars in economic opportunity. First movers are expected to have a 5- to 15-year competitive advantage. In this interactive workshop, participants will be introduced to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and explore opportunities for business to take action on the goals by acting responsibly and finding opportunities for new products and services. Case studies will highlight how businesses around the world are creating profit while building a more sustainable future for all.
