UBC Sauder - Strathmore SMC Summer Business Program
As part of a partnership agreement completed in August 2015 between the two schools, a group of undergraduate students from the School of Management and Commerce at Strathmore University (SMC) in Nairobi, Kenya will be visiting UBC Sauder from May 28 to June 4, 2016. The group will be led by their Dean, Dr. David Wang’ombe. The SMC students will participate in a business program to include lectures from UBC Sauder faculty, tours of UBC facilities and visits to leading Vancouver companies. They will also have several opportunities to meet and interact with UBC Sauder students and will give a presentation about how business is conducted in Kenya. It is expected that this will be the first of a series of exchange visits between the two schools.
