Uniting knowledge.
Fuelling entrepreneurship.

The Arc Initiative seeks to build a bridge, an arc, that facilitates a genuine two-way exchange of knowledge and business skills. We believe that the best way to increase economic wellbeing is to work at the community level developing business management and leadership capacity.

Our approach involves initiating and fostering relationships between UBC students, Sauder School of Business alumni and faculty, and communities in South Africa, Ethiopia, Colombia and Rwanda. We collaboratively build programming such as internships, workshops and mentoring activities for young entrepreneurs.
