David Clough Assistant Professor, OBHR Division, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Group David Clough joined the Sauder faculty in July 2017 after completing his Ph.D. in management within INSEAD's Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise area. David's research topics include founding team formation, new venture resource mobilization, and the partnership strategies firms use to manage technological change in innovation ecosystems.

Victoria Lemieux Sauder Distinguished Scholar Associate Professor of Archival Science and lead of Blockchain@UBC, an industry-academia research and education cluster focused on blockchain technology. Her current research is focused on risk to the availability of trustworthy records, in particular in blockchain-based ecosystems, and how these risks impact upon transparency, financial stability, public accountability and human rights.

Christopher Rowell Post-doc, OBHR Division Christopher Rowell joined the Centre as a Mitacs Accelerate post-doc in September 2017 after completing his Ph.D. at Aalto University. He researches the creation of new markets around electric vehicle technologies and blockchain.

Marjan Houshmand (August 15, 2017-December 31, 2017) Marjan Houshmand (University of Hawaii, USA) is the Associate Faculty Director of the Family Business Center of Hawaii. Her research aims at understanding how the interplay between entrepreneurship and family affects family members professionally, psychologically, and financially in entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Lisa E. Cohen (September 1, 2017-April 30, 2018) Lisa E. Cohen (McGill University, Canada) researches the hiring process at entrepreneurial firms, and will be interviewing members of the Vancouver innovation ecosystem around hiring practices.

Daniel Han Ming Chng (July 1, 2018-June 30, 2019) Daniel Han Ming Chng (CEIBS, China) researches the challenges founders and their ventures face in a more matured business environment, the roles that innovation plays in this context, and how the institutional context (such as the ecosystem) affects entrepreneurship and innovation.

Dennis Ma

Dennis Ma started the Ph.D. program in OBHR in 2015. His research interests include organizational theory, social networks, family business, immigration, and entrepreneurial life course research.
