Sam Eifling

Sam Eifling, an independent journalist based in Toronto, has written for media in the United States and Canada since 1998. He has covered the alpha and omega of Canadian fossil fuels: in the oil sands of Fort McMurray and at the 2013 pipeline spill in Arkansas, his home state. He holds degrees from Northwestern University and the University of British Columbia, and has won a Sigma Delta Chi, the Society of Professional Journalists' highest award, for newspaper feature writing.
