Chris was the Manager of First Nations Economic Development area at Sauder S3i – Sauder School of Business at UBC from 2009 to 2012. His work in this capacity spanned over three years where his primary responsibility is the management of graduate student resources within this development area. Chris liaised between First Nation communities and the graduate student resources to prepare and conduct feasibility studies as well as business and management plans. In addition, Chris works with Nations and affiliated organizations on an individual basis as he is currently working to develop governance strategies within an economic development context.
Chris also has a background in the retail food and food system sectors, which he spent over ten years working in that capacity. He has an MBA from the Sauder School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of Lethbridge.
