Title: Sauder S3i Graduate Intern (2011) Andrew is a graduate intern working on Market Based Instruments for Ecosystem Services, having recently completed a Masters of Forestry at UBC where he specialized in financial and market analysis of forest carbon and biodiversity as well as teaching commodity trading in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. He brings a wealth of applied international financial markets experience to Sauder S3i, having worked as a derivatives trader for nearly ten years in London, Singapore and Hong Kong. His undergraduate degree was in Chemistry and Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham. Andrew enjoys the great outdoors and when not fishing can be found volunteering for the Seymour Salmon Society and Ducks Unlimited. It was this passion for the environment that convinced him to move to BC and conduct formal studies in this area.
