Ahmad completed his undergraduate degree in computer science at Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan in 2003. After graduation, he started his career with CARE, an NGO that works for the rights of underprivileged children in Pakistan. Recipient of a Fulbright scholarship, Ahmad studied Finance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2009. In Fall 2012, Ahmad was elected to the office of the General Secretary for the Pak–US Alumni network (PUAN). The network is an initiative of the US State Department that aims to improve peace, prosperity, and intellectual exchanges between US and Pakistan. As a member of PUAN and leader of a 12- person team, Ahmad delivered a one-week entrepreneurship course to one thousand school students in the city of Gujranwala.
Ahmad is currently pursuing his MBA degree from University of Toronto’s Joseph L. Rotman School of Business where in recognition of his leadership experiences he was awarded the coveted John A. Rogers leadership award.
Ahmad’s areas of interest include problem solving, finance, strategy, business design, leadership and entrepreneurship.
