The Master of Management-Early Career Masters (MM-ECM) program is positioned between the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. This intensive 9-month program provides graduate students, who have university degrees in non-business disciplines (such as Engineering, Arts and Science), with a solid foundation in business and management.
Graduates of the MM-ECM Program are well-rounded and enthusiastic young professionals who have proven they can adapt, learn and thrive in challenging business environments.
The MM-ECM program provides students with a vital grounding in a broad spectrum of business and management disciplines, as well as the communications skills needed for a successful career in business. Course curriculum covers:
- Strategic Management
- Finance
- Managerial Accounting
- Marketing
- Entrepreneurship
- Leadership
- Organizational Behavior and Human Resources
- Information Technology
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations and Logistics
A key element of the MM-ECM program is the Community Business Project, a 6-month volunteer, consulting project in which students lend their new business knowledge to community-focused business projects in Vancouver's Lower Mainland. Find out more about the Community Business Project here.
