About the Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre

The Hari B. Varshney Business Career Centre provides career development and recruitment services for students and alumni of the Sauder School of Business, UBC. Our goal is to help employers, students and alumni build long lasting valuable employment relationships.

Each year we help thousands of Sauder students realize their aspirations through work terms that complement their academic learning and permanent career placements upon graduation. And we help employers find the best business talent for their organization.

Career development services

Our experienced career coaches work closely with students and alumni to help them determine their career goals, explore career options, and develop effective networking, job search and career management skills.

We also host a series of networking events, information sessions and international career expeditions (Treks) that enable students to connect with industry leaders, learn about existing opportunities, and create new ones where none exist.

Recruiting services

The Business Career Centre offers free tools and services that help employers quickly and easily connect with talented Sauder students and graduates.

Employers can post jobs directly on our online recruitment system (COOL), and participate in a variety of online and on-campus recruiting initiatives. Our Business Development Team also develops personalized recruitment strategies with local, national and international recruiting partners interested in participating in our internship, work term and new grad recruitment programs.
