The BCom Class of 1982 Reunion - 20th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
Third time is the charm! After marking our 10 year and 20 year anniversaries, the former CUS Executive organized a 30 year reunion with a reception on October 19, 2012 at the Rogue restaurant in Gastown. Fifty alumni and former professors attended from near and far and by all reports, a good time was had by all. Click here to view a few additional photos.
In addition to the many who attended, we received regrets from more than 20 others who were unable to attend. A testament to the success of our classmates combined with an ever shrinking global landscape, we received greetings and regrets from alumni working and travelling the far reaches of the globe including India, Nepal, Bali, Columbia, Philippines, California, Israel and New York to name but a few.
For some this was their first reunion and we hope it will not be their last. Many who wondered in advance of attending whether they would have a good time surprised themselves and had a blast – which is always sweet music to the ears of an organizing committee.
Our former faculty did not disappoint – special thanks to our former Dean, Peter Lusztig, former professor, Stan Hamilton, and professors Izak Benbasat and Bernhard Schwab for joining in the celebration; and we also acknowledge regrets received from Mike Goldberg, Deborah Meredith, Dave McPhillips and Mark Thompson.

The BCom Class of 2002-10th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
The BCom Class of 2002 successfully held their 10-year reunion on June 21, 2012. The group enjoyed a "no pretense get-together" at the Terminal City Club Lions Pub. For alumni who may remember the FIFO cruise party, you'll appreciate that the reunion was rightfully named (by Wendy Chan) LIFO - Life Is Full Of-surprises. If you don't know what FIFO means, then you'll have to ask around! The group enjoyed catching up and seeing how everyone is doing after all these years. For those of you that wanted to attend, but sent your regrets, you were missed greatly! Alumni are encouraged to stay in touch and check the event photos by joining the Facebook group (search "UBC Commerce Grad 2002"). The event organizers are already looking forward to celebrating our 15-year reunion!

The BCom Class of 1952-60th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
The BCom Class of 1952 celebrated their 60th reunion anniversary on May 25, 2012, with afternoon full of activities. First, they gathered for tea and coffee at the Arbutus Club, before visiting the Sauder School of Business for a lovely tour of the renovated Henry Angus building. While the discussions were centered around the new space, alumni also had many questions about the current BCom program and facilities. The group then returned to the Arbutus Club for dinner.

The BCom Class of 1956-56th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
The BCom Class of 1956 celebrated their 56th reunion anniversary on May 23, 2012, at the Terminal City Club with an informal lunch. The class has held reunions every five years since graduation, with the last reunion (55th) held last year. This year, they felt they weren't seeing one another often enough, so they came up with a good reason to have a lunch that didn't fall within the previous "five-year tradition" — recognizing the milestone of 56 years that have passed since the ’56 graduation! Seventeen grads attended this informal gathering. After a great lunch and plenty of conversation, the group decided that this may be a new annual tradition.

The BCom Class of 1992-20th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
The BCom class of 1992 celebrated their 20 year reunion at V Lounge in Vancouver on May 5, 2012. Judging by the laughter and the conversations throughout the night, it seemed like it was only yesterday that this group all saw each other.

The BCom Class of 1957-55th Anniversary Reunion (Complete 2012)
Graduates from the BCom. Class of 1957 held their 55th reunion on April 3, 2012. Dean Dan Muzyka escorted the group on a most illuminating tour of Sauder School of Business. Comparisons with the army hut facilities, educational techniques, and absence of electronic equipment which were in place 55 years ago provoked much discussion. Lunch and reminiscences, at the home of classmate John Savage, were enjoyed well into the afternoon.
