Finance Specialization

UBC's Finance Division ranks among the leading finance groups in the world, in terms of both research and teaching, and has an excellent reputation for training graduate students who obtain challenging jobs. Purpose
The Master of Science (MSc) program in Finance is a research oriented degree program. It is aimed at students who are interested in pursuing a PhD degree after completing the MSc degree.

Audience
Finance MSc students typically have very strong academic records and undergraduate degrees (or even graduate degrees) in quantitative disciplines such as commerce, economics, mathematics, statistics, science, or engineering. Previous work experience is not required. Enrollment is limited and admission is highly competitive.

Admission
Since space in the MSc program is limited, admission is highly competitive.
